Update on our Class C Makeover

We have finally finished our overhaul. Here are a few before and after pictures. We decided to paint the walls and not the cabinets. Everything I read said that painting the cabinets was an upkeep nightmare, so we thought that painting the walls a color that would accent the cabinets would be a more practical idea, and we were very pleased with the results. Our little slice of paradise went from an Olive-y wallpaper to a please soft blue.

Our kitchen reno took a little more time, since we added the stick on wall tiles from Amazon, which after 3 months is till holding up amazingly well. We decided to keep the original flooring as it was in good shape the colors did not clash too much with our paint. The knives are magnetic and stick are easy to attach to the wood block

We decided to take out the original wall booth table, and replace it with a wood block table, the table is heavy but our rig is able to handle the extra weight. We did keep the original booth seats, we made it work by removing the backs and just keeping the bench for extra storage. It was surprisingly easy to remove the backs, since it was just plywood. We carefully cut the backing so we could still use it for the final bench. In an RV the extra storage is really important, so it was perfect solution, The space feels so much larger than before.

We Transformed the barker lounger into a small office space. The desk, from Amazon, will fold up and can be taken outside if needed. The curtains are white blackout, which really helped at night. I did have to breakout the sewing machine to make some size adjustments, but overall, they were fairly easy to install.

We added the wall tile to the bathroom as well to give the space a fresher look

The pleated curtain had to go and was replace by a Boho style curtain, also Amazon, I know, what a surprise.

Here is a video of our final walkthrough. We could not be happier with how it came out.
