Ready for the Summer?

We are heading to Ireland this summer and are in the midst of planning and packing. One of the first things we did (way back in Nov) was to start researching flights. I am a planner and I like to have things worked out in advance. I wish I could be a little more spontaneous, but that is just not my nature, so I started to research and track flight prices. My favorite tool for this is Google Flights. Researching and tracking flight prices is a smart move, and using Google Flights is an excellent tool to help you find the best deals. By tracking flight prices over time, you can get a better sense of when the best time to book your flights will be and potentially save money in the process. This tool allows you to track flight destinations and prices over time periods and then notifies you with an email when certain price targets are hit. Another feature that I love about Google Flights is the "Explore" feature. If you have a little spontaneity in you, then this might be the feature that excites you. Explore allows you to pick dates you might want to travel, and gives you an idea about prices in a variety of locations. This feature can be especially helpful if you are flexible with your travel plans and are open to exploring new places.
